Red Nation Television Channel was established in 2006. It is American Indian owned and managed. Red Nation seeks to become the only American Indian owned and managed Universal-like multi-media studio in the Entertainment Capital of the World Hollywood.

From the launching date in 2006 to 2011 Red Nation Television Channel was the *only* American Indian Television Channel.

In 2010, Red Nation producers decided to put Red Nation Television Channel on hiatus to re-create the channel with new vision, new look and more content.

April 2012, Red Nation Television Channel | Native is Here, re-launched at National Indian Gaming Association at their national conference and world-wide.

 

Where is Red Nation Now?

 

We are currently broadcasting our channel on the internet as well as syndicated news features. As we expand we will continue to add more content.
We have created “free” areas and will be creating pay per view areas “Red Nation Plus. We have already launched the music division, and currently in production of children’s programming and Red Nation original programing.

 

We have become a leading force of American Indian & Indigenous production, not only in content but in the industry, and throughout Indian Country.

Red Nation Television Channel as a leader created the first all cast American Indian drama series in the U.S. as well in news media relations.  In 2006 Red Nation News first feed on American Indian current news relate stories on the internet inspired Indian Country Today with their launch of their media network (2009); and inspired San Manuel Tribe with their launch of FNX (2011).

In 2004 the total revenue for the Film Industry was $44.8 Billion. (According to the Motion Picture Association of America)This is broken down into Video and Box office receipts of $21 Billion and $23.8 Billion respectively. Of this total, $25.5 Billion was generated in the United States. In 2004 the U.S. Television industry generated $130 Billion through domestic and international sales. It is expected this will grow to over $170 Billion in 2008. Ethnic Media companies reach 51 million adults in the U.S. and is expected to rapidly increase in both availability and market penetration outside of ethnic media. Internet Video Ads (i.e.commercials online) hit $400 million in 2006 and is anticipated to be over $1 Billion in 2010, according to Jupiter Research.

 

RNTV will be developing and producing small to medium budget films and TV shows both drama and comedic series.
